Day 3 is down and I must admit that it is getting easier. I am still sore but I can actually make it through the workout with out wanting to die! I have 7 more days of level 1 and I know that I will be able to do the harder moves by then. Stay tuned!


Well today was day 2 and boy was I sore! I woke up sore and by the time I got home from work I did not want to work out. But I pushed through it. I have a feeling I will be even more sore tomorrow but I can do it! Back with another update tomorrow.

PS) The bodybugg rocks! Two days in and I have a deficit of over 500 calories per day. Let’s hope this reflects in my weigh-in sunday!

My husband got me a body bugg. I am starting it today and look forward to seeing how many calories I am actually burning.

I am also starting Jillian Micheals 30 day shred today. I am going to do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for 10 days and level 3 for 10 days. I am going to take pictures and measurements and update every 10 days. I’ll keep you posted on how it is going. Stay tuned!

I started the Turbo Jam work-out today. I had a fun time with the first work-out and am looking forward to keeping it up.

Turbo JamI recorded all my measurements and am looking forward to reporting back in a month. Are there any work-outs you love to do that get you moving? I dread exercise and with my busy schedule just tend to push it aside so I am looking for work-outs that I will love and keep up with.

I have also joined the green monster movement which are smoothies that include spinach. They taste good and are an awesome way to add fruits and veggies to my day. I make mine with 1 cup of soy milk, 2 cups of fresh spinach, 1 frozen banana, and frozen strawberries or blueberries. I really enjoy them and it is a great way to start my crazy days!

Wow I need to get my butt in gear on blogging. I got back from vacation and work has been non stop crazy ever since. I still need to blog about my amazing Disney vacation. We also had a great middle eastern inspired meal this week that I also want to share. Luckily this weekend plans to be low key so I am expecting to get some major blogging done!

So we got home from vacation at Disney yesterday. It was a great trip and we had so much fun. It is nice to have a day back to get the house together before going back to work. JP and I spent the day grocery shopping and prepping food for the week. JP and I are doing a biggest loser type challenge for the next six months.  Each week we are going to go by percentage of weight loss. The winner for each month will get to go on a date of their choosing by the loser. Today we are making two of my favorite healthy meals.

Taco Junk

For dinner tonight is taco junk, which is ground turkey, black beans, corn, salsa, and dry ranch dressing mix. It is an awesome healthy meal.

I also made cheesy chicken burrito filling for lunches this week. This recipe is from the website, Aimee’s Adventures. This is a great site to find lots of healthy easy meals. I used it a lot when I was previously on weight watchers. I will post soon on my vacation. I have a ton of pictures to share!
