I have a friend who has recently started running. Between him and all my blog friends, I am inspired to start running as well. I have decided to do the couch to 5K program, especially since they have an iPhone app. I have an insane week at work this week and then I will be on vacation so I will be starting on October 4. I am looking forward to this as I used to run. I completed the Nike Women’s half marathon a couple years ago and really enjoyed it, so it is time to get back. I need the time to clear my head and reduce stress. Right now I have no goal beyond running 3.1 miles straight. I will look into half marathon training programs once I complete the first 9 weeks. Any tips and tricks anyone can offer would be awesome! Wish me luck.
